1. Encourage children to participate regardless of ability;
2. Encourage participants to always play by the rules;
3. Never ridicule mistakes;
4. Recognise the value and importance of coaches;
5. Never publicly disagree with coaches or coordinators. If you disagree, raise the issue privately through the appropriate channels;
6. Actively discourage racial abuse and vilification;
7. Remember that participants participate for fun and are not miniature professionals – so go easy on them;
8. We condemn the use of violence in any form, be it by spectators, coaches, coordinators or participants; and
9. Demonstrate exemplary behaviour by not using foul language, or harassing coaches, coordinators or participants.
